seriously tho, i've always thought that bowie's part (written at the last minute by the way cuz he demanded he be able to show off his range) was really pretty. it does make me a tad misty. someone should cover it, i mean besides the esteemed Monarch and the lovely Dr. Girlfriend. are there any other holiday songs out there that don't completely suck ass? i really can't think of any others that i don't loathe. john lennon's "merry xmas (war is over)" isn't bad, but i'm not gaga over it. other than that what else is there?
